Youth Programs

The Library offers both ongoing and standalone programs for kids and teens. Below are ongoing programs. Please check our Events Calendar for standalone programs, such as special events and performances.

Lego creations made by kids

Lego Club

Lego Club meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month. Kids 5+ can join us for a drop-in and play in the Library Program Room. We provide the Lego, you provide the creativity! All Lego creations will be displayed in the Children’s Room between club meetings.

Tween/Teen Art Night

A Tween/Teen art Night will be offered monthly on a Thursday from 4-5pm. Craft projects vary from painting, felting, resin, and paper crafts. We welcome anyone age 10+ to join us for an afternoon of creativity.

 

Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program

Each year we participate in the iRead summer reading program to promote reading among children and teens. This year's theme is Read Beyond the Beaten Path. Look for programs and events that embrace a multitude of summer experiences, from camping to storytelling and much, much more.

Take and make crafts are available in the Children’s Room. They are first come first served.

Special Programs

Special programs will be offered throughout the year, but especially during school vacations and over the summer. Past programs include Build, Build, Build and Robots, Robots, Robots which were offered over the December break of 2021.
