Join us for our 2026 Summer Reading Program, “Plant a Seed, Read,” running from June 30 through August 28. This community-wide program encourages readers of all ages to explore new books, build reading habits, and participate in fun, educational activities throughout the summer. Children and teens can take part in age-appropriate reading challenges with opportunities to earn prizes and rewards along the way. In addition to reading, participants can enjoy a variety of programs including storytimes, STEAM activities, family performances, book clubs, hands-on workshops, games, and special events.
The program kicks off with an Ice Cream Social on June 30, where families can register for Summer Reading and celebrate the start of a season filled with reading, creativity, and fun. Whether you're a lifelong reader or just getting started, there’s something for everyone at the library this summer!
