Weather Closures

The library will close when there's a power outage, or when inclement weather necessitates a shut-down of Town offices. In the case of a power outage, the library will reopen as soon as possible following restoration of power. We encourage patrons to check online or call ahead during adverse conditions if they are unsure that the library is open.

Please hang on to all library items until it is completely safe for you to return them. Items will not be due while the library is closed, and we will waive any late fees that may have accidentally accrued.

Staff may be available to answer questions during weather closures. The best way to reach staff while the library remains closed is by emailing info@exeterpubliclibrary.org.
